3.1 Describe the process for acceptance.

TFG requires prospective clients complete a short online application.  After reviewing the written applications, TFG staff sends top candidates to one of TFG’s entrepreneurs in residence for a phone interview and final decision on acceptance.  A small subset of applicants is asked to come in and pitch to all  advisors in one of TFG’s quarterly meetings.  

TFG accepts close to 25% of applicants.

3.2 What percent of applicants are accepted?

TFG accepts close to 25% of applicants.  TFG reviews applications a minimum of twice per month.

3. 3 What is the time lag between completed application and notification from TFG?

After submitting the application to the TFG website, prospective clients can expect to hear from TFG within approximately three weeks.  Expect a final decision within a month of application.  

TFG has an ongoing, continuous application process. TFG staff reviews applications at least twice a month, sometimes more frequently if we have received a large number of applications.  TFG staff refers top candidates to one of our entrepreneurs in residence for a final assessment and acceptance determination.  A small subset of applicants is asked to come in and pitch to all TFG advisors in one of TFG’s quarterly meetings.  

3.4 How long can I be a TFG client?

There is no time limit to how long you remain a client with TFG.  Some TFG clients have used TFG’s advisory services since its inception three years ago.  Clearly, the advisory services required by these long-term clients changed over time.  TFG helps clients in all stages of maturity.  

There are time restrictions to the number of hours clients can meet with TFG advisors.  These restrictions are discretionary and to a degree dependent on client progress.

3.5 Does TFG  have a demo day or graduation?

            No.  TFG clients do not “graduate” from TFG. See question above (3.4). Clients can avail themselves               to TFG’s services for as long as the client feels TFG is helping.
